Bus Air Freon
I need to add a couple of pounds of freon to the bus air system. Looks like I need a special wrench to open the valve to allow the 134A to flow in. Has an almost square stem about 3/8″. It didn’t want to move with a 3/8″ box wrench without undue pressure so I’m in search of the correct tool. Any help appreciated.

Any wrench will work just fine. The tool I use has two ratcheting ends and has 4 different size squares depending on which end and which side you use. I would guess and industrial HVAC store would have that type wrench.

Sounds like you have the correct wrench, the problem may be the direction you trying to turn it. To open turn it clockwise, opposite of most things in life. ONLY turn it 3.5 turns (one turn = 360 degrees). If you go further you will start to close it again. I believe it seats at both ends of its stroke. But when you are ready to close, counter clockwise is correct.
