Seriously now…
If I were so miserably unhappy with my bus or anything else in my life for that matter, I’d sure change it !!
Praying for you !
Cheers,
Diane

I am sure David will have A LOT of Prevost memories. The initial memories at the start of this post are the type that I am sure David and his family will continue to create with their new Prevost. I am sure other people have those type of memory creations on there bucket list. Peter has Prevost service spot on. With the membership of this site and the shared knowledge and experience it seems to me that the Prevost Brand has gotten to be better understood. I have been on here for over a year and learned a lot. I relate to the comments about Prevost owners getting feedback from other plastic coach owners about wow factor of owning a Prevost in comparison to plastic coach. When you get to understand it, it might be a little more but the difference in the whole experience is well worth the minimal increase in cost. A 10 year old Prevost is worth more than a 2 year height end plastic.
As for members who can only offer negative comments, input, and feedback. That is part of what makes this site what it has become. The principals allow all comments (within reason) and the membership very quickly learns what the content of the contributor is most likely going to be.
WHERE’S TOM, I have not seen much on his new coach.

I’m still kicking Paul, trying to finish up with some fix it items at Marathon in Coburg, OR and hopefully heading east on Friday. I’ll get some pictures up today, the bus has been like a Bat, only comes out of the shop at night.

Tom, If you are bored, you might want to check this place out: http://evergreenmuseum.org/ It’s about 80 miles away and well worth it. There’s a great microbrewery nearby and some great wineries.

Bill,
I feel sad reading your message. Slightly a wee bet negative.
Most of us can hardly wait for our next bus trip. Have you considered a break leaving your bus for awhile living back in a stick house, small apartment or condo ?

David and Boxcar have expressed very well what I am sure most of us feel about our busses and traveling in them. I feel sorry for Bill and his constant misery, but at the same time, do not understand it. We tend towards Jon’s view of preventive maintainance. Even though we cannot do the same work on the chassis side that he does, we have found honest, knowledgeable and capable people to do what we cannot or are unwilling to. We have been sidelined only once in 5 yrs and that was for something we knew had to be fixed and were unwilling to wait in Phoenix for 2 days for belts. Elected to have them waiting in Tulsa and made it within 100 mi…….our bad. Nine out ten trips result in no list or nothing of any consequence. If we had the problems and misery that Bill has, that bus would have been cut up a long time ago. I’m not going to pay to be miserable….life is just to damned short !

I am really happy for David, not only because he now joins us as a Prevost owner, but because he and his family are going to find an entire lifestyle that we all enjoy.
There is no way any of us can justify buying our coaches if we look at the purchase as a financial calculation, but there is nothing I can think of that we have done in our almost 53 years together that has provided so much enjoyment or allowed us to become friends with so many great people all over the country.
Maybe sometime David will share some photos of his Bluebird engine to help everyone understand he is going to enjoy his bus as much from working on it as he will from taking trips in it.

I just had to respond to this thread, First congrats on all the new bus owners, whatever the conversion, As for Megan and myself every trip is an adventure, We look forward to every one planned or not, as far as repairs they are nothing compared to the satifaction you get traveling in a Prevost. I am especially fond of every trip you never know when it could be your last, We are getting some upgrades done at Jeff Rowes shop in a week or so, new floors and several other things Yea it will cost but will add much pleasure to our travel experiance, I think we will be going to Subway for lunch in the bus tommorw, we do this often 60 mile round trip but still fun! I guess the old saying ” you have to pay to play” is somewhat true in a bus but again the memories are worth a lot more, My two cents, Gary

Okay, where’s the 12 step program for H owners. “Yes, my name is David Brady, and I am an H3-aholic”, LOL! 🙂
(SpongeBob at Prevost (Richmond, BC)). Nice of them to clean off the driveway for me! Do they do that for you XL guys too? 🙂
