Branson Rally Deluxe Sites
Posted by Archived on August 28, 2013 at 4:52 pmFor those wanting a Deluxe Site while at Branson, there are 5 sites, 130 – 134. Those sites would cost an additional $33.00 per night and would have to be reserved and paid upon arrival with KOA direct. You have until next Friday, the 6th to make the call to Angie at 417-334-4417. Don’t talk to anyone else, she’s our coordinator.

Tom, how close are they to all the rest ? What are the differences in the sites ?
-
I don’t remember the details from when Jon and I were there last year, but they are very nice.
Here’s the site map and they are in red.

Where are the rest of us being parked who aren’t paying premium extras, but signed up early. Are we near that convention center? The map on the KOA Branson website has no site numbers. Oh, and what’s the attendee count?
-
Jim,
We will fill all the orange spaces just above the convention center. When they are full we will be located more to the left (on the site map). I’ll let Tom address the count so far.
If anyone has handicap needs there are two remaining sites immediately alongside the convention center. Let us know.

The
sites are numbered you just can’t see them. I can’t find a link on
their website for the site map, so all I have is what I posted. There
is now only 1 handicapped spot left and that’s site
180.We
are at 42 with the coach sale folks and that will likely change
either up or down. There are some that haven’t paid and they will be
deleted from the list on the 31st. We have to prepay the sites on the
1st of September.Anyone
can still sign up for the Rally after the 31st, but the site
selection will then be handled by KOA based on space availability.
The site rates also go up, that’s why our Rally fee goes up after the
31st. -
We just signed up for the upgrade. Angie was very helpful. She said I was the first to call for an upgrade.
-
I also signed up for the upgrade site includes furniture and paved patio a little larger better for the pup, Gary

I’m really hoping we can still make it to the rally. I put my 98 yr. old father in hospice last week so I am having to play it by ear right now. My mother is 88 and in poor health also. I’m scrambling to get aid workers to hopefully be there when the rally is……..He’s a tough old bird and isn’t going to go down without a fight but we just never know. Nothing imminent right now but he is declining faster than we thought.
I’m sneaking away on Thursday to pick up the coach in Nashville but I will only be able to go to the rally one day (monday) as Brandon’s guest but I have to be back in Detroit for a meeting on Wednesday.
-
It’s a fluid situation right now day to day……I feel horrible about leaving for Nashville but I need the bus in order to go to Detroit to help. We live 4 hours north and with the dog, it is hard to find somewhere to stay. Thank goodness Harbor Town RV resort is open year round in Monroe which is only 30 minutes from the folks. Once I get the coach I will at least have a comfy place to stay during this.
