Brake Pedal Removal
I need to run hardwood in the cockpit. I have removed and replaced the “Go pedal” before so I know that is just tethered to an electric cord. Can someone walk me through what is entailed in removing the air-brake pedal and remounting on an inch thicker floor? Save a big guy having to crawl around downstairs to see what is on the underside!

I don’t have an answer but an observation.
My brake pedals all appear to have been left in the original undisturbed position by the converters when installing the floors. I don’t know if that is because the thickness of the floor has to be maintained or if there are issues with the removal.
In my current coach the flooring goes up to but not under the pedals. In the area where the flooring stops there is a black carpet material that surrounds the pedals. You would never notice it or question it because it looks right.

This is exactly why I asked first. Be interesting to see if anyone else has tried this. Even my stock carpet didn’t run underneath the brake pedal and it did run under the center console. I found the Go-Pedal was interesting given it is fly-by-wire and when I repaired the sender i actually relocated it a bit so it was at a better angle to my foot. I was hoping the brake pedal was easy as well.

open your bottom side door under your brake pedal look up and you will see why it can’t be raised. The mechanism runs close to floor underside and there is no clearance on bottom for it to be raised. Easy viewed above power steering box.
