brake chambers
I will be at Jeffs in the spring to replace norgrens and brake chambers, and air bags, do not have a problem with these now hope the issues are worked out by then, The issue with the turbo sensor is screwy, Jeffs said not to put in a new one might cause a shut down I do not understand why? Gary

The turbo boost sensor if I understand it correctly is just what it says. It is the means by which the DDEC knows there is turbo boost because the delivery of fuel to the engine is dependent upon boost and fuel is delivered in proportion to boost. No boost, no or very little fuel which means you cannot develop enouigh power to drive.
Why do you think it is acting goofy? Sometimes a throttle position sensor can make it seem like the TBS is bad, and the TBS can sometimes make it seem the TPS is bad. A reader is required to sort things out.
As to brake chambers I am still awaiting some answers from Bendix, including their recommendations on time or cycle intervals for brake chamber replacement for preventive maintenance.

Gary is talking about the sensor harness recall that has given some of us problems. I wouldn’t change it out either and will just bypass if mine fails again.

If you have drawings or instructions they would make a good article for owners affected by this to carry in our coach. I know several have been bitten by this problem, but there are likely others that will experience the problem and would benefit highly having an “instruciton sheet”.

Did you check them for leaks and how did they do?

I checked them they did not leak at all
