Hi Diane, not sure about the liberty as we have a marathon. You would need to ck what the voltage is at the lites. That way you could determine either 12 or 24 volt. dc. This one site might help you..www.Autolumination.com/strips.htm They seem to have any color you like. They also have waterproof also. There are many comments about Led lite sites in the community forums.

I thought that these belly lights were 120V. I remember Jon posted some pic of his underside and they looked like the rope lights you could get a home depot.

Thanks for the reply… I have one section directly behind the front passenger side wheel… looks like it may be about 4 ft long and then the section across the rear of the bus under the engine compartment… all worked fine until Larry pulled out of a tight parking lot and dragged the rear of the bus tearing that LED in the square tube out… Maybe it was already hanging down or something no way of knowing now but I think we would have noticed that when it was on the rack at your place. when that got scraped another wire to the aft docking lights was severed… that is fixed but its wierd that the 4 ft section in the front quit working too?? how are they all tied together… need to find someone I don’t like to crawl under there and take a look… nah… just kidding… we have a shop where they can raise it up when we need to.

All the others are working fine.

Thanks Greg… no they are quite different from the rope lights these are solid strips about 12 inches long and joined together continuously and I think inside a square tube… I am not sure of that though as the salvaged part I have is incomplete.

ATTENTION : Jon …..

I recall you having a problem with your Blue LEDs some time back…what was the problem?? I am just wondering about the section I have that isn’t working but not damaged like the rear ones… Are your lights the same as mine and are they 12V or 24V ?

I had two problems………….I had a section out and it was caused by a faulty connection probably due to all the rain and road grime the lights and their wiring are exposed to. The second problem turned out to be associated with the entire system and it was the little green A-B relays. One had failed and melted, so I replaced them with the larger capacity black cube relays found through the coach. I cannot help regarding a failed section unless it is a bad connection.

The square style LED lights that you show in the picture are no longer used and have been replaced with a round style LED tube that is for under the coach.

Thanks for your reply.. That’s what Liberty said… does that mean I will have to change out all of them?

What a pain !! Are they mine 12V or 24V ? and what about the new ones? Are those the ones you mentioned trying to get a better deal on?
