Blower motor wont turn off
I have a 1992 prevost H3-40 the big blower motor in the side door that blows the cabin air through out the bus will not turn off with the key. it turns off with the power switch, but as soon as you turn the power back on it kicks back on. does this bus have a blower control module like a car, and if it does, any idea where it is. Thanks Jason…….

It sounds like a solenoid (relay) is stuck. The locations of the AC system control relays has varied on all my three coaches so I suggest you look for a box in the condenser compartment or on the ceiling of one of the bays. It is likely to be a “can” type relay such as you might find on the firewall of an older car for the starter.

most are 24volt. And they do stick in the closed position. Actually weld themselves inside. Prob 3 in box check to see which one is showing continunity with power off. They should be open with no signal to them. Big poles. Bob

Yes It was the solenoid in the blower compartment on the side wall. Thanks for the help. Highly appreciated.
