Black/Grey tanks connection
We have viewed several Provosts and discovered that the black water hose connection is located under the bus body. Due to difficulty in the ability to kneel department for both of us, can it easily be re-routed ?

Almost all coaches have the waste connection beneath the coach so you can have a hose connected and the bay door closed.
However don’t worry about that. It is not a deal breaker because if you want you can easily and cheaply modify any coach so the sewer hose connection is above the bay floor inside the bay. It’s just some simple changes to the gate and connection configuration.
Keep in mind the reason almost all sewer connections are under the coach is so if the valve leaks you do not have the leak end up inside the bay.

You may also find that the connection can be rotated. Mine looks like a fixed connection but since the outlet is between the black and grey discharge handles the connection can be fully rotated. I often turn it 90 degrees to point directly out the side of the bay for a more convenient connection.

An alternative is on macerator equipped coaches you can use a garden hose connected to the macerator outlet. Usually it takes 10 to 15 minutes for a macerator to empty the holding tank(s).

I want to be environmentally correct so when I use my macerator instead of spraying it two sites down as Les apparently does, I just pump it into his fuel tank.
