I have no direct knowledge of every holding tank configuration, especially as relates to internal baffles. But from the tanks I have seen and their construction drawings there is no chance any power washing system is going to do a complete job of the cleaning discussed above.
Internal baffles are a given. In addition to preventing the contents from moving en masse and literally rocking the coach under certain driving conditions, the internal baffles are used to hold the tank sides to prevent them from ballooning out when the tank is full.

My tanks have no baffles. I have had all the tanks out and replaced the fresh tank. No baffles. None needed. Tank was professionally cleaned side to side and top to bottom. No residue left behind.

FT Bill: Before they cleaned your tank, was there allot of “stuff” on the sides and bottom? You have a single holding tank? Or split grey and black?

I have 3 tanks, fresh, black and grey.
There was a good deal of build-up on the bottom of the black and some “crud” on the side walls. The grey tank did not have too much of anything other than sediment looking stuff on the bottom and some “crud” on the sidewalls. After the cleaning there were spotless plastic sides throughout both tanks.
