I think the guy(and he’s from our neck of the woods) or at least his buddy who pushed for a Prevo, would have benifitted greatly from a membership in PC or at least from reading the forums. If the show is accurate, he way overpaid and especially for that particular bus. Just my 2 cents. Geo.

It seems they only mentioned “asking price” and never disclosed the actual selling price. Hopefully no one pays “asking price”.

I do know of a small group of collector car nuts that price their cars fairly and have it as a “take it or leave it” price. The cars are not advertised, only word of mouth. That is way different from the Lazy Days sales model.

I have not seen the show mentioned, but those types of shows blow everything way out of proportion to make it impress the viewer. Those shows are as real as my smart phone.

Les, I believe at the very end the buyer asked the price and the salesman said 986k and the buyer offered 975k and they said deal. Again….how real ? Who knows. What I was saying is that particular coach (knowing what I know about it) is worth nowhere near that.

    Hi Corey,

Care to share what the coach in question was, year, converter, condition, any $$ upgrades etc? and what your estimation of the ‘right’ price should be? We’ll probably get to see this particular episode in the UK in about 5 years time. Mean to start getting an idea of actual vs advertised prices. Any idea, or does anyone care to chip in on how the convertors price their coaches wrt advertised vs price they will accept?

Andy, the coach is an ’09 Parliament XL11 with 37k mi. It’s been a sitter for at least 18mos(not good). Probably worth 7 to 750k. Where it has been sitting is even worse.

That was the same coach that was at our rally at Lazy Daze. I remember walking thru it and commenting on the leather on the sofa’s.

Hi guys, washer and dryer working great. Can’t wait to see your re-do. Remember also that the coach in question wasn’t plugged in along with all the Lazy Days show coaches.

Looks like someone’s ‘dream’ coach may turn into a nightmare? Assuming of course that it was a real buyer paying the supposed $ amount on TV. Are you out there somewhere Mr. ’09 Parliament buyer?

George is right that was the one at LD not plugged in and nothing seemed to be working. You would have thought someone at LD would have had the energy to wip it into shape, plug it in and at least have the airs on.

LazyDays said they were having major power issues on that sales row at the rally… and that 09 was gone for a day or so as Steve? Mitchell said it was in a movie that was being filmed in the area at that time… All the LazyDays Prevost coaches were dirty and NOT ready to be shown in my opinion. Shame !!

Sounds like nothing has changed. Friends of ours flew from eugene Oregon back in 2004 or so to look at a country coach XL 45 2 slide called 60441. When they arrived at the coach to look at it, a tag tire was flat, the dishwasher had what looked like mud in it, there were food wrappers around the drivers area. LD knew Fred was flying in to look at this coach by request. LD made no effort to make it show condition. Fred said he couldnt test drive it since the sales guy couldnt find any tire air.
