  • Bedroom windows

Curiosity. As we coach shop, we find it amazing that so many coaches which have had a television update to current technology, place the new TV over one of the windows. These busses are already cave-like especially in the bedroom, why do remodelers cover a good existing viewable bedroom window. Puzzled

I’m with you Jim, My Bus was updated to the new LED TV’s three years ago and the bedroom TV is in the Cabinet where the Good Lord intended. BTW isn’t that also the escape window they put the TV in front of?

I’ve seen a number of plastic coaches with the TV on a telavator amd I didn’t like that either. Never liked the idea of covering a window with anything other than a blind.

    Good luck on you search,

    Harry

I agree to a degree… however how many people actually look out their bedroom window…we have had both… in the Vantare we added a TV over the window but it didn’t cover the whole window… only about 20″ down from the top after you take away the cornice board etc… we could however still open the window & get out which is a BIG concern !! In the Liberty it’s all open and even the ends of the slides have windows which really does open it up nicely…. at the same time due to sun.. heat & privacy… our bedroom usually stays closed up and cool…. especially since we don’t use the coach a lot in the winter months & no one ever rides back there.

So I guess lifestyle plays a big part in that decision…. for us it isn’t a big deal but staying cool is !! To each is own.

It is less than 40 feet from the TV up front to the bedroom. Probably 15 feet from my comfy TV chair to the bed. And my chair is closer to the fridge!!

why exactly would I want to watch TV in the bedroom?
