  • Bedroom Cruise air ACH14B Symptoms

    Bedroom Cruise air

    – When depressing the dash / front A/C button to start the A/C’s one at the time(waiting for each to start) the front cockpit and galley start fine with the required delay for power draw

    – bedroom, no matter if that one is started single mode or after the other 2 or 3 are started, it takes a while, power and display comes/goes, I can hear / feel a click, trying to start, after about 2-3 min it starts and goes off couple times then runs Cool but not Cold, does not matter the setup on the SMX, same temp, low…I believe this unit is behind the front bumper the farthest one. It was running fine in December/January, but temps were cooler during the day. Last week in Naples got into the high 80’s. It was running great last summer in HOT days up north.

Possible issues to start looking into:

    – wash the condensing unit filter

    – replace start/run capacitors

    – find a decent tech in Florida to recharge respective unit

Found part numbers and ordered the capacitors(thx Don) and a solid state relay(thx Dawn).

Coach is in Florida, we will return in couple weeks. I did not called AAP yet…

    Please advise!

    Thank you!

    Dorel,

Here at Pelican Lake I have used Daniel Cornevin at Land and Sea Cooling. He is a specialist in our Cruisair applications. He can be reached at 239 572-0600.

    Chuck, thank you…

I did some checking around for Cruisair techs and he is on my short list to call, I believe I have seen his vehicle there. Thank you for recommending him.

I did talked to Dana @ AAP, from my description he things is the compressor, but need to be with the coach to do some more checking.
