  • Bay door bottoms.

    The bay doors on the XL serries are two piece. Break is inder rub rail. I have replacements cut at my local sheet metal sales out of polished stainless. Most shops will put a 90 degree bend on bottom for you (1 1/2 inch) then you just bend around. IBP (Steve) has them already sheared. Info for DIY guys. Bob

    Actually that is good information for everyone.

    If you ding the bottom of an XL bay door replacement is quite easy.

    I had a guy cut me a new dash panel the other day so I could mount my Silverleaf in the dash. While there, I talked to him about cutting and bending not only the bay door bottoms, but also the stainless rub rail covers. He said “Nothing to it!”
