Bathroom door malfunction
Air operated door stop closing, seem like mechanically bound in the bottom…
Tried to increase/decrease pressure to get the door unstuck, no luck.Air cylinder on top works, not sure what the door is riding in the bottom, what would cause the binding….there is no access to the bottom of the door tracks, very tight, I can just see couple felt guides on sides…is there a way to take a part?
There is piece of same material as the door in the bottom, floor to bottom of the door, glued to plastic or metal piece under the door to protect / do not let stuff get under the door… Cannot remove unless I damage the piece…

Not sure this will help but we had a similar problem with the closet doors binding on the carpet. The center bracket holding the track above the door had broken. A couple of “L” brackets and sheet metal screws did the trick to fix the cracked bracket. Better than new … maybe.

I had to make some door adjustments too. There is a panel above the door that has 2 screws holding it in place. Once off you can see the bolts that hold the door to the track. One of mine was loose and I can imagine it getting loose enough the door might drag on the floor. You could look at that. This assumes your 2000 is done like our 2003. …. good luck! -
Ok, thanks, I will take a look…currently the door is stuck in open position, inside the pocket, will not release from the bottom, possible got loose and now is leaning fwd into the track, will see what access I get by removing the top panels.
