Basswood RV Resort, Kansas City?
I will be stopping over in Kansas City for a couple days for a business meeting and wanted to get some input on Basswood RV Resort north of Kansas City. Seems to be one of the nicer places I could find in that area (dont want to go that far out of the city as I do need to make trips in for a meeting or two).
Any experience with this place? Any other options that would be nicer?
The map/sat view looks nice. Also being on the north side of the city (accessable from bypass) makes it an easy out to head north and not have to drive through the city again.

That is one place, quiet but out of the way …north of KC.
One of the places on the north / east part of town is the amuzement RV park at ..Worlds of Fun RV park… off the city wrap around highway I-435.
This park is much closer to access downtown as you have several access routes depending on traffic. Easy to get into wide sites with zero tree issues.
The only draw back is the location is near the I-435 highway.

We have stayed at both and MUCH prefer WOF. Paved roads all around, and concete at the site. Very easy to get into and out of. Very nice long pull thrus at WOF too.
