  • Awning Windows

My 1991 XL was retro fitted with awning type windows around 2001 by Mira Loma Prevost. They leak. I notice that the rubber seal around the awning windows is different that in the fixed windows, wider rubber on the glass side. this made me wonder if the locking strips are different for the two types of window seals, Prevost parts dept is unable to help me with this issue. I have recently download the Parts Manual diagram XL-1884-60 and I notice what looks like an opening at the bottom of the window that goes deeper into the frame. Possiblily a condensation drain feature. It looks like the larger rubber seal edge might cover this opening on mine. My question is do any of you that have awning windows have an opening at the bottom that you could slip a blade into more than a inch?
