Awning fabric replacement
Need to replace the awning fabric in my Girard awnings. 95 H3-45. Can this be a do it yourself deal or are there some recommendations on shops to do this?

Not really a do it yourself project.
I have watched Jeff (ETLC) do it several times and they take the awning off the coach and have to unwind the awning, take all the tension out and slide the material out of a small track. Takes two or three people.

When Buddy said he “watched” something happen at ETLC coach … there is a big emphasis on “watch”. Not trying to be cruel, mean, or start a fight …. just stating an irrefutable fact. So if Buddy says its a big project requiring lots of people power … its a big deal.

I can tell you from experience take it to ETLC, I wanted mine replaced took it to a very large and so called experienced place and after the third day of them measuring and calling the Mfg I left and scheduled a visit with Jeff. Only thing I would suggest is that after the install make sure to check for new leaks in you roof because of the amount of traffic that is required that could break some of the chalking on you roof. I drive from Texas to Jeff, for a lot of reasons.
