Auxiliary Air not holding
We noticed our air compressor was running a long time. We looked at the gauge and saw it was at 90. We turned off the breaker to the air compressor so it didn’t get overheated. We’ve noticed that our air has gone down to 15. Does the auxiliary air work the slides? And the toilet? I know it fills the slide seals. Also our air floor was not responding. So not sure where the leak is. We have a 2006 liberty XL elegant lady.

Could be anywhere in the aux system. Slides are electrically operated.
See if you can hear a leak. That is the starting place. If you hear air escaping and try to narrow it down to an area or device.

While the slide motors that move the slides are electric the seals and pins rely on air pressure.
Assuming I understood the description of how fast there is air loss it is likely it can be heard as a means of isolating the leak. Runs the bus engine to get max pressure, turn the engine off so it is quiet and listen for the leak.
If I were to guess I would guess it would be a slide seal leak. If so in the A/C bay there is a valve to turn off pressure to the seals.
I’m guessing so it could be a host of other things.

2006 elegant would have air picket doors, gen air bags, slide seals, bed lift, dump valves. also would have quite a few valves in between those systems that all could be leaking. The best place to start would be to air up the system and check what you can with a soapy water mixture replacing push conection fittings with compression as you find them. aux compressor is located behind the e-center so it would be more difficult for some people to check the air tank and compressor fittings.

There are so many place the air leaks out. When I left Florida this year, my coach would go about 12 hours before the auxiliary Air compressor would kick on. In August, it would kick on every 20 minutes. So, upon my soapy water inspection, I found two fittings leaking in the front compartment under the driver’s seat, the valve for the gray water bypass and the drains on the auxiliary tank, the other front tank and the small tank for the front left airbag. I’m up to 6 hours now between cycles, and still searching!! It’s a never ending cycle of air leaks. The push on connections are usually the culprits along with failing valves.

need to put year of coach in your signature. Lots of push fittings start to leak as temp drop. Many of us have changed from push to compression fittings as we can.
