Aux Air System
Aux air system on my bus is necessary for a variety of things, some are important, some not so much
.
1) engine belt tensioners/airbags
2) stair well cover
3) door lock
4) pocket door
5) air ride suspension & leveling
6) front shutters/louvers
7) genny airbags
8) tag raising and brakes
I’m probably forgetting something??fancier buses have more things

Every conversion has more or less air operated devices and the chassis depending on model year also has more or less air functions.
I have identified 21 air operated devices or circuits on my coach, not including the slide room uses of air. Every one of them is a potential for air loss. The earlier the coach, the less circuits or devices which makes eliminating air leaks less daunting.

I had only three devices on my Aux Marathon Compressor. I know have two. I disconnected the air-bed lift and use the gas pistons, which I repositioned, to easily raise the bed once a month. Another pneumatic device I didn’t need.
As stated, some are must have’s, and some are just nice to have … but they can certainly be a pain chasing down the leaks if you rarely use them.
