Aussie LED Headlight Upgrade Prevost XL
Thanks to Gil Johnson with the help updating my 96 XL to LEDs. I purchased the Aussie Headlight Kit from CP Addict. Pretty simple process one can do in an afternoon and pairing up with JW Speakers 8900s, Im really pleased with how it turned out. For under $1000 Ill actually be able to travel safely at night. And I think they look great! Highly recommend. More pics to come on the driving lights and tail light upgrades.

Looks great and I bet they work!
If I’m not mistaken, those are the standard size 5×7 headlamps with some sort of polished bezel around them. Could you give us details please?

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Any issues with installation fit? Am I correct in assuming you did not need the anti-flicker harness?

Where did you get the LED Lights?
I have been pondering for months going with Gil’s Rear Lights LED conversion. This could go along with that conversion.

The lamps themselves are at jwspeaker.com (model 8900) and product I’ve purchased from them in the past has been up to snuff. The nice thing about using a standard type lamp (5×7) is that technology upgrades are no longer Prevost or 1990 Ford dependent.
I would like to hear from the op re any issues with the installation kit and whether he had to use a non-flicker wiring adapter. I would expect the non-flicker would only be needed on later model coaches than XL or XLV.

Late to this thread, but Ive got a guy that builds these headlights for less than $700. Projectors in a factory housing, bi-xenon or LED. This is my bus.
