  • Atwood Water Heater

I have a sliight water leak and it’s coming from under the lower water heater toward the front. While hoping for the best and preparing for the worst, I’m thinking that it’s probably the lower water heater tank leaking. The questions are:

    1. Has anyone pulled the water heaters out of a CC XL? If so are there any tricks or gotchas? It looks like it may slide out and in more or less plug and play stile.

    2. It looks like the Atwood EHP-10 may be obsolete. If not where can it be obtained, if so what is the replacement?

    Thanks in advance.

Hey John, I think the replacement heaters will fit right back in the same space but it my understanding that the connections for the Wabasto or engine coolant loop are in a different location so you have to do a little work on the hoses and connection.

Jeff Rowe said something abot this when I was asking about mine.

Check out West Marine catalog. If you don’t need the outside covering polished, this is a less expensive direct fit since that’s what Country Coach and Marathon used. Google “West Marine Hot Water Heaters”, check you part number and compare

Thanks for the heads-up on West Marine. Looks like they have what I need and they have a store in my neighborhood. Thanks again!
