You should have a Normally Closed solenoid that stops the hot coolant from circulating around the coach and a Normally Open solenoid that flows to your water heaters until they heat up and sends a signal to the Normally Open solenoid to close, stopping the flow of hot coolant to the water heater.
You will know that the system is working if after driving your hot water is tolerably hot and not like 200 degrees.

Being CC owners I knew we didn’t have we that pesky overheating problem with the coach hot water. But I didn’t know the full explaination of how it worked. Thanks. -
The coolant loop for the dash air or OTR is not the same as the house coolant loop.

On my and George’s Country Coach, you are correct when refering to the air conditioning. However, the engine coolant that heats the hot water and provides heat to the water bays, the bedroom, the kitchen, and dash area are all on one loop that is controlled by solenoids according to the hydronic heating schematic I am reviewing.
I am not familiar with how SOB coaches work.

I agree Michael, I was just pointing out there are two seperate coolant loops.
