  • Are these Koni Shock Bushings OK ???

Posted by Jeff on January 7, 2020 at 11:21 am

The attached photos show what ALL of the KONI shock bushings look like on the rear shocks of my 2006 year model H3 chassis. These Koni shocks were installed this past April.

If you also have Koni shocks on the rear of your bus, I sure would appreciate knowing if your bushings looks the same or if yours are not squashed, or if these bushings should be replaced.

They are not metal to metal, but I wonder if they were not fully inserted prior to being torqued, or if the bushings were stretched when the chassis has been fully raised via air bags. THANK YOU!

    Are those washers on backwards?

Edit – I just found them in the parts assembly manual – that is the correct orientation.

Bushings are designed to fit the mount stud. It appears to me the rubber bushing is wrong size for application.
