Aquahot changing sound
Aquahot was completely rebuilt 2 years ago (new tank too). It has always had a low level high pitch whine, but has worked fine for two years now.
We have been living out of the coach for business for the last 3 months. All of a sudden the Aquahot is running quite a bit quieter, but still working great. Is this noise change to quieter something I should be concerned about?

Chuck, Most of the burner noise is the plastic clutches and the roar of the fire. If you high pitch whine has quieted down, perhaps the clutches have gotten quieter, a good thing.
If the roar is quieter along with the motor noise, that can be a cause for concern. If the motor is slowing down, the amount of air is reduced and that needs attention now.
The key quick way to determine how it is running is to look at the exhaust while firing. The whine needs to be high pitched and the roar needs to be smooth. The exhaust needs to be clean and clear. White or blue smoke needs attention soon. Black smoke needs attention now. Shut the burner off till black smoke is fixed.

Exhaust is clean and clear, roar does seam a little weak though. System still working fine.

The clean and clear exhaust is a sign of proper operation. Keep an eye on it.
