Aqua Hot Issue Imagination or reality?
Aqua Hot has been working great but never never had a fuel filter. I just added a filter and now the Aqua Hot gets warm but not hot. Is this just a coincidence since I added the filter or did the filter cause a loss of fuel to the point the burner is not firing hot enough?
Aqua hot burns approx 1/3 GPH – filter rated @ 7 GPH.
If not the filter, where else should I be looking?

P.S. The burner is firing and running, there is hot air coming out of the exhaust and there is no sign of sooting or any signs of gray or black coming from exhaust. Exhaust is clear even when first starting.

Chuck, the temp of the Aqua Hot coolant is set by the Control Thermostat. If it is weak and opening too soon, coolant temp will be down.
There are four thermostats behind a panel above the Webasto burner. The top left one with orange and white wires is the Control Thermostat.
They can be replaced if needed. Proper coolant temp at full temp is 175 plus. I have seen 200+ on the temp gauge inside.
