Anyone use Prevost Serv in Franklin Park, Ill yet?
I noticed a few months ago that Prevost opened a service center in Franklin Park, Illinois. Its my understanding that Prevost had a service center in the Chicago area, but had closed it. Now they have one open again.
One a trip a few weeks ago I noticed the OTR/bus air was getting soft (especially on the A/C side) so I need to have it looked at. Probably low freon caused by a leak or a faulty valve or both or something else. I would like to get it fixed before I can get to ETLC in early fall.
Has anyone been to the Prevost service center in Franklin Park? How was the service? Easy to get an appointment? Do they have techs who know what right is? Well stocked with parts?
I wouldn’t ask this question about any of the established Prevost service centers. I’m just apprehensive about the Franklin Park facility because as I understand its history, its relatively new.

I haven’t used the Franklin Park facility, but when I stopped in Goodlettsville last week to have a leaking wheel seal replaced, I got into a discussion about the new facility with Tim Willmuth, who now has overall responsibility for both the Goodlettsville and Franklin Park operations. He indicated that they were extremely busy, and had been ever since opening the doors in Franklin Park. He said that the emphasis there, as it is in Goodlettsville, is on taking care of the customer. Based on his comments, he seems to have some seasoned folks in place there that should be able to handle things well. Their parts “bench” is obviously not going to be as deep as Goodlettsville, but I would not hesitate to use them for “routine” things based on my discussion with Tim. If you decide to try them, I also would not hesitate to give Tim a call or email and provide feedback either way.

I was told by the guys at Liberty in N Chicago that it has no plug ins, so unless you are going to stay with the coach, or just have a short appointment, it may not work for you.
It is also in an industrial area if that matters to anyone.
