Anyone know this Lady Liberty Bus?
Posted by Harry on June 16, 2018 at 1:10 pmI went over to my bus this morning to get a couple things and see I have a Prevost visitor. Very nice looking bus don’t you think? Do you know the owner by any chance?

Harry … its a Liberty Coach … it goes without saying its a very nice coach!
-
Thanks Dick, I know you learned that from Jon! I’m trying to find out if anyone knows the owner?
-
Nice coach. I can see the reflection of weeds in the shiny stainless.
-
That would be a new owner….Mr Jones very nice couple first time Prevost owners.
-
Thanks Jeff, Yes sir Don Jones. I got his name and number the other day and plan on giving him a call tomorrow. Two Prevost owners in little Murphy, NC. I can see the taxes going up already!

Hmmmm, I get your point Tom, but the way you and Jon set this sight up I’d not call it an “ending up on the internet” kind of forum. A member would have to post it outside this forum and I hope no one would do that. Plus almost every member shows their name and other information on the bottom of each post so it isn’t as though we’re bashful. If I have fallen below normal forum standards I stand corrected…
I see guys put up pictures of a Prevost bus all the time here on the forum asking if we know the owner. Why is my post any different?

Harry, If you talk to this guy, sign him up for PC membership. Just be sure he sends his dues check to me. :O)

Hey Fred, I plan to do that very thing, this is just the place he needs to be. As for the dues check no can do Fred, you know how Jon and Tom are about dues. I just saw the projected dues for next year and can only say WoW!

While it may appear this is a closed site available only to registered members the reality is anyone that is determined can gain access by “borrowing” another member’s password or registering. We do as well as we can to screen members but the reality is we cannot keep determined people off the site. We are no different than any other site in that respect.
Because privacy is very important to some members we do not insist members use their real names, or turn on their email addresses on the forum.
A lot of our members are OK with using their real names, providing access to their email, showing photos of their coach or toad, etc. But others are not willing to reveal themselves so generally speaking we prefer a person discussed publicly know they are the topic of discussion and have no objection.

Points well taken Jon, it’s something well worth paying attention to for sure!

The comment about the Russians was likely said in jest, but more than twice as many people who attempted to register were not given a password than were provided with a password due to an IP address from an area on the globe that has had a history of hacking, including Russia.
Lately Tom and I are overwhelmed by emails with Russian origin coming into our administrative email address and we can block every one of them, but the following day there will be a new list of Russian emails.
-
That’s incredible news Jon… We hear about Russia this and Russia that but I had no idea they try to get access into and onto the forum. I’m sure its a nightmare for you guys and I thank you both for staying on top of it for our protection.
