depending on your timing, you may want to tack on another 20 or so miles and see if the Olympia folks have anything that interest you. They’re located in La Vergne, just south of Nashville. They seem to go thru their coaches pretty well before delivery, and they are nice folks. We’ve talked with them on several occasions. They do advertise on PC as well.

funny enough that was where / why we are headed to Nashville , but thought we should check out anything else in town that kinda got the type of bus we were looking for.

Staley has 1 too, so it looks like a whole day of looking at coaches. That will be a thought day / not lolol

When I was looking for my first coach, I flew to Nashville on two occasions, rented a car and each time visited multiple dealers who had used Prevosts for sale…there are many dealers in the region. John and Hillary at BusForSale.com couldn’t have been more hospitible and knowledgeable about the bus industry. I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to buy a coach from him if it was the right coach.

From my limited experience, entertainer coaches are made to be comfortable as the passengers travel from venue to venue. However, it’s the Marathon, Liberty, Millenium, Featherlite and a few others that are built with more systems for more comfortable and even luxurious living. Jon has gone into more detail on this subject on many occasions on this forum.

And as my brother-in-law always points out, the entertainer coaches have 6-12 passengers on board constantly pushing the buttons, flushing the toilets, etc. while our leisure coaches get a lot less wear and tear with limited occupants.

While I was tempted on numerous occasions with some appealing entertainer coaches, I opted for the more luxurious living Prevost. It’s been 3 years now and I still have a grin on my face. You have to make the decision that’s right for you.

this one is a country coach motorhome, so not an entertainer, although it could have been a lease … it has low miles, so I’ll be eager to get the history next week.

My concern with the systems would be the blac k and the gray tanks are equal in size and I have no way of knowing if we bathe more than we poop, but my guess is one tank will fill sooner than the other so having a total 140 gallons capacity is misleading.

The other, greater concern is the house basement units. We have often discussed how relatively ineffective Cruiseairs are for over the road cooling because the hot air radiating from the highway cuts into the efficiency and maybe even shuts down condensing units, so these two systems may have that problem also. And just to look at it from a numbers perspective, most house AC units are going to be at least 13,000 BTU, with some roof airs now at 15,000. So a four unit coach is going to have no les than 52,000 and maybe as much as 60,000 BTU of house cooling. This is going to provide a max of 48,000.

thanks jon. The hvac was what concerned me too.

I had a 2 ton unit in my first rv – a itasca. It did an ok job in a 39 ft. , but it ran and ran and ran on Hot and humid days.

You re going to need to read the description as a general one

As Mr Mark indicated above, this coach is a 2004 Country Coach, most likely on a 2002 chassis.

It appears to be an early “LO” series of coach. Up to 2003, Country Coach busses were labeled with a 60000 production number such as 60449. From the first CC bus of the sixty thousand numbering which they went from 60001- to 60491 these XL and XLII’s had cruise airs or rooftops a/c units. The later XLIIs of the first generation of CC used Girard awnings, outside, split cafe bay doors under the slides using Knudsen Products Rams to open and close the bay doors. They also came with a simpler electronic switching system coupled with mother and sister boards in brief

The LO bus series began with LO-1 which was MSO’d as a 2003 model.

With more complexity than the earlier models these coaches were state of the art. Rooftop awning were now the lower profile ZipDee New Century, that Liberty and Milennium now use. The mother sister board electronics were replaced with crestron hence the 20 inch dash TV screen. That is not the main front TV. These earlier LO coaches had projection screen TVs in the salon that dropped down up front at windshield.

The push button color changing spring loaded Korean made delicate Sun Moulon light switches of the 60000 numbered coaches were replaced with touch pads

the driver dash area utilizes the original Prevost installed switches in lieu of previous switches which were the above mentioned Korean brand

HVAC was a combined system for use when parked or driving down the road. Country Coach was trying out something new new alternator wise for road travel. It could have the Aura-gen belt Darien generator of main engine to power a rolling coac

Also, after Prevost adopted engineering thatCC founder Bob Lee was doing on earlier coaches increased front axle capacity, this coach will have the 365/70/2.5 tires, instead of 385/65/22.5

This coach will have 20K Power Tech Genset, although ad reads17.5kw. I will have to look to see if I have a brochure from this era of a Country Coach. ,I might, but not sure

i think the tank caps for grey and black are a little light.

There will be two places on this coach as all Country Coaches for its production number. One will be to left of entry door near RVIA badge, or inside bath top vanity cabinet door with lust of all appliances rights and water caps

yes – Jeffs was on my list, and I have now made the required pilgrimage to ETLC – 🙂

he has a 02 that is certainly being heavily considered. Really nice layout and of course all the pre-requisites on service.
