    nice Pan and that looks like a 195 in the background , I get to pelican lake during the winter occasionally, if so I will bring some of my junk and introduce myself.

    I think Tom was lovingly referring to his former buses with the old 2-cycle 8V92 engine. They had “slobber tubes” that left oil spots on the garage floor just like a Harley except the 8V’s left two spots not one!

    All nice bikes, so much I think I’m about to slobber down my chin thinking about riding each one. I owned a 1974 Superglide, yeah I know it was made by a bowling company. Still loved every minute even one ride in July 1979 from Wilson NC to Evansville IN. That’s only 965 miles. Left Wilson around 9:00 AM ESDT and arrived in my Evansville IN garage at 2:00 AM CDST. The last leg was at higher than posted speeds. I got up the next morning feeling fine, went into the garage to go over the bike. I found the twin exhausts “blued” within a couple inches of the exhaust tips! That equates to high temeratures.
