Anti-theft Alarm System
can anyone tell me how to disable the alarm system? Don’t know how it got armed but now when we open the door it goes off and can’t start

You must have an add on one. All I have is the Prevost factory one made by Ford. Mine only sounds the horn and flashes the lights when it goes off. I can disarm by key fob or door keypad.
Do you have a separate keypad or something for yours? How did it work before?

Greg, you probably have a 12 volt fuse you can pull to disable the aftermarket alarm. I’m sure it is converter specific, but I pulled the fuse from mine because even when it was not armed the motion detectors were a draw on my chassis batteries. I don’t know if pulling the fuse will affect the ignition interlock however. My alarm system doesn’t do anything but make noise.

Im pretty sure it’s from Prevost, the little bit of information I have has Prevost on it and its also from Ford.
i don’t know how it got armed but it sure makes a lot of noise.
Did get thr remote to work and got it off but couldn’t get the key pad to work.

Mine has a toggle switch slightly under the left hand dash.

Do you have the “master” code for it? If not, try that. You can get it from Prevost if you don’t know it.

The master code is on the control box located behind the panel on the RH side of the stairwell under the dash.
