that is used to open your awnings. The end with the black plastic is used to put out the rafter arm of the main awning. Clipped on the inside of the main awning arms is the rafter arms. It is designed to hook at the top of the main awning in little groves on the awning cover.

jeff is correct, as usual. however, even afer being showed and trying many times, i just pull out the folding stool and do it by hand. much easier.

Thank you Jeff, when I purchase the coach they opened the awings with an aluminum rod with a red plastic handle on it. They said “this” is what you open your awings with. So when I found these I really wondered what they were for!!

Since you are in the mood to answer questions How do I remove these light fixtures. The gold ring will pull down about an 1/8″ and stops I was afraid to pull on it very hard. The light bulb wires are broken off in it and I need to repace it or fix it..

They should have to clips on springs when you pull down clips spring up to come out hole

Pull slowly, those springs are like a mouse trap. Peter always has Trina do it so as not to break his nails.

if the bulb is broken turn off the light and pull the broken prong out with needle nose pliers.

Mouse trap!!! I’m glad the walls in my coach are not painted. Because after that light came out of the hole and the springs slapped my fingers the cussin fit I threw would have burned it right off! I got it fixed and back together.
