Another Liberty H345 question, AUX Air tank
I lowered the front bumber on our 2000 chassis and of course being a Liberty saw two crusie air units behind the air shutters. But, if I look above the cruise airs, which is hard to do, I see what looks like a large air tank. Based on the maint manual drawings I think this is the Prevost AUX air tank. Not 100% sure what I am seeing, I can only make out a small part of what looks like an air tank.
My questionis, how do you get to the vavle to drain that tank? Do I have to revove the shutter assembly? It is amazing how many things are different on this H compared to my previous1999 Royale. A lot to learn, but having fun doing it.
Jon, please bring your leak detector tool to Lakeland. I have a whistling noise that comes and goes up front when going down the road. I suspect a bad air leak somewhere, but have no clue where it is. Wind direction seems to have an affect on it.

Yes that is the aux air tank. Liberty may have relocated the drain valve to the left front compartment (Under the driver). You might have to call Liberty and ask. On the whistle, do you have a general area where it is located. The drivers mirrow can cause this depending on how it is angled.

I would be surprised if all tank drains including this one were not accessed from beneath the coach. If this accessory tank cannot be accessed from below then it sounds like a candidate for a lanyard operated drain valve.
I always have the ultrasonic leak detector with me on the coach as well as a cheap stethoscope which is also very effective.

On my H, that tank is the Prevost Aux and the tank drain is in the steering bay.
