    Ample Power V3 Regulator

    This 2002 Royale has a Ample Power V3 Smart ? 12v house regulator. It wont pick up charging after a short time after engine start. Running down the road the batteries slowley run down using ihe center A/C, finally tripping out the inverter, low voltage. If I disconnct shore power for a short while, start the engine the Amp gauge will ramp up to 100 A then slowley recede to 0. But running the center A/C does not direct the regulstor to ramp up charging.

    Anyone with this regulator and ideas

    Sounds like the regulator is toast. When it starts to charge, what voltage are you getting at the house batteries?
