Ol’Ben,
I had 4 phillips screws on the horizontal sill. Lifted out the sill and exposed in each corner 2-7/16 bolts. Pushed the window open installing the 2X4 braces
I did not see how that window and frame could be removed. I think someone said it rest in a half tube….But I’am not sure.
To get better info give Leon a call in Coberg. He is the Marathon Tech expert with about 25 years experience.
AL
I like your mosquitos verse….

Leon confirmed the ‘half tube’ style hinge………..I just need(ed) the info on the lower bolts in
or under the sill.
My installer is a local glass man and he wanted to make sure how to approach the job……since this is not
on his list of regular installations.
Thanks much……….
Also……since my Amana may be original @ 18 years?…….I’m ingesting all the R & R info this old head
can handle.
May have to listen to the BW and “write some things down!!”………(she doesn’t read this stuff so……)
Happy Father’s day to all…………Ol’Ben
PS: If Noah only had a skeeter swatter…eh?……..I know/ spilt milk/ water over the dam/ ….ad infinitim(sp?)

I see Tom has fired a shot over the bow of the CC guys. All I know is the air surrounding our CC’s is so pure we don’t need to clean our filters and we don’t have to put up with that blasted rose petal smell the Liberty folks seem to have to deal with…………………..
-
I don’t think he was taking a shot at CC folks, but was sending a signal that when the CC folks jumped into this discussion we Liberty folks might have to call in outside help.
We ignored his comment of course because the CC attacks and insults about our fine Liberty conversions are little more than background noise.
Excuse me, I have some rose petals to gather.
-
Jon,
While I’m sure you could hang meat in your coach, you loose credibility when you claim to be “gathering rose petals” for any purpose. Rose petal gathering just does not fit your style. Besides I thought those came automatically with Liberty. Perhaps it’s a filter issue with the rose petal dispensor. -
Actually since he only has a flip phone Liberty’s drone system is ubable to locate him and he is missing out on the auto-delivery service for the rose petal dispenser.
-
Thank God….our Vantare came with waders. We often wondered what they were for, now we know.
-
You know Corey, I think PC needs to provide every member with a pair of waders ,or hip boots if you are a tall guy.
For what we pay in dues to belong to this site and the abuse we take, we need a pair.
Since I am a CC owner, I want two pair in case one pair leaks I will have a back up.
-
Charles, we got used to the good natured abuse when we had our CC and we loved that bus and so do the new owners who recently thanked us for “allowing” them to buy our bus. With our Vantare, we seem to fall through the abuse cracks. Seems to go back and forth between the every thing is rose petals guys, Marathon “superior” electrics guys and the very few complaint CC guys. Geo.
-
If you would like we could start abusing you Vantare folks, as well as any conversions we might have missed.
We kind of stopped picking on the CC guys because we started feeling bad for them. But the comment about double waders may be an indication it is time to start up again.
Thank goodness no body picks on Liberty coaches.
-
I am not about to start picking on any coach that has been rumered to be driven by a good father.
I don’t have room in my queen size bed for a horses head (or a horses ass)
Its always fun to be here.
See some of ya’ll at Jeff’s place. Maybe we can start picking on him.
By the way, I wear a size 9
-
I believe Jeff has a “no bib overall” policy.
And having been there once or twice and seen and chatted with the folks that can be found at Jeff’s, I can assure you it might not be a bad idea for everyone to bring their boots. Sometimes it gets spread pretty thick around that shop.
