This whole process took 1/2 hour with the glass guy standing by. The old fridge with doors removed and new fridge without doors. I think the boys at ETLC have done this before. They did say it went really well with Jeff staying in the office

Jeff and ETLC crew are going to replace my refrigerator too. I am glad the windshield is NOT one piece that is typically used on most Class A pushers.

I have been told one piece windshields don’t reseal well after removal.

No worry Alvie, mine is 1 piece and I don’t see any issues, seals in great shape. It’s all about the installer and these glass guys are good, this is my 3rd glass change out with them.

Ok, I’m going to ask a dumbass question. Tom, when BoaterAl changed his fridge in his NonSlide H Marathon, they took it out through the salon window that actually is hinged at the top, no window removal. Why did you not just do that? Much easier. I watched and filmed Marathon change Al’s through that window.

Tom, the newer body style H’s have frameless windows, don’t flip out. Geo.

Most class A pushers are using a single piece of glass for their windshields.

Prevost utilizes a spilt windshield design which has had fewer problems and less expensive to replace. Easier to replace one side versus the whole windshield.
