Ed: we’ll stop next time by.

They did my radiator replacement. Ask for Denise (owner) or David (shop manager). If I wasn’t close to ETLC, I would talk to them about a refrigerator swap. The coach needs to be exercised once a month. This would be good exercise.

For any one considering a DIY refrigerator replacement in an XLII, I posted a recap of my experience replacing the Amana by myself in a parking lot in Phoenix (with some brief intermittent help from one skinny guy and the “loan” of use of a forklift) while on a trip late last year. It is in the Diagnostic and Repair Nuggets category.

Well she’s alive again turns out she was low on Freon due to a small and very slow leak, I have patched the leak and added Freon and she is cooling once again.

I drove around with a broken rf w/s for about 4 years. Every time I had any service done, they wanted to replace it. Told them no because I knew as soon as I replaced w/s, my refer would die. Got 4 more years of life out of the refer!!

Joel, your normal luck seems a lot like mine. If something breaks, I buy two. Not that I need them both, but the second one extends the life of the first by eons.

Yes, I get a kick out of people’s list of spares sometimes. Generator stuff isn’t necessary at all IMO because you have a big gen, too.

One spare I don’t read much about that I do carry is a complete water pump replacement on the Liberty. My Marathon had dual pumps but with the Liberty, a pump failure could be REALLY inconvenient.
