Allison Transmission shifter pad issue
Take the shift pad apart and clean the gold contacts on the PC board with a pink eraser or with Q-tips and acetone. Clean the conductive rubber with just a Q-tip ( no chemicals on the rubber as that will make it worse). Be careful with the display as it is a glass vacuum tube display that is not replaceable. The right side of the display looks burnt and that is normal. If you brake the glass that burnt spot will turn white and the display will not work anymore.
If this has already been done or does not improve button function then rebuild the shift pad with new mechanical switches.
