Has anyone reprogrammed a B500 Allison transmision to down shift into 5th not 4th when engine brake is applied? And if yes what did you do?

Used to do a lot of them, helps a lot in the coach slowing down, as it is trying to force downshift to assist the Jacobs brake….

Art, my last coach, 2002 Monaco 45′ Signature w/500 Cummins and Allison 4000, was programmed to downshift aggressively all the way to 2nd only when the Jake was applied.
My current 40′ Prevost stays in sixth and downshifts normally weather the Jake is on or off. If I want aggressive, I have to do it myself.
One of these days I’ll get her into my local Allison dealer and have them reprogram it to work like my Monaco.
