    Charles,

Jeff and I disagree, so it will be up to you to report back with the real number.

On the subject of bushings I have found that when the urethane bushings (usually red in color) fail it happens fast and totally.

If they look new I leave them alone, but at the first sign they are starting to break apart I replace them with the black rubber type typicall found on shock absorbers. Nothing scientific, nothing I can quantify, but when the black rubber ones start to fail you see the rubber kind of oozing out of the ring, where the red ones just come apart, usually in a few hundred miles.

So as Charles nibbles away at renewing his undercarriage replacing the bushings is a quick easy task, and that is going to leave him a lot of extra time to deal with the push in type air fittings, replacing them with new compression fittings. BTW, Jeff really needs to secure the vise. It is a pain to replace fittings in Norgren valves when half of the effort is spent chasing the vise across the floor.
