  • All electric?

Posted by Andy on July 13, 2014 at 2:49 pm

Haven’t seen seen anything so far to suggest most if not all Prevost bus conversions aren’t all electric? Is that the case? One less thing to worry about if they are. We plan on doing some dry camping but not an issue if the genny has to be run a couple of hours a day. As I understand it, propane will be no help from an AC point of view anyway.

There used to be conversions with propane for cooking, the refrigerator, and furnaces in the 80’s and nineties but I am not sure anyone makes one anymore.

There were some conversions that DID continue into the 90’s, like Country Coach, with LP for cooktop/oven and refrigerator. I believe the latest one I saw was a ’99 Country Coach that still provided LP.

You are correct, LP does nothing for air conditioning or even water heating on the conversions I have seen.
