I didn’t see anyone post this, but if you go to the Canadian Border Patrol web site to see what fruit, Veggies and meet you are allowed to take across along with alcohol yoou will be in great shape. It is acutally tougher to return into the state than it is to go into Canada. I am from Washington State and have lived half my life in Canada.
Have fun, it is a great place to explore, and don’t forget Kalowna BC. Great wine area.

Thanks for the pictures, that’s great to have those old photos.
We made it to Eureka, Mt last fall with the intent of leaving the bus at the campground with the other 2 or 3 bus buddies and drive the car across at Roosville then onto Banff. We had been told of many horror stories of crossing the border in a bus and just didn’t want the drama or delay. So we went in the car & the Canadian guy at the border said go for it but it would probably be a five hour drive and too much distance to cover if we didn’t spend the night. So we turned around and went back to Eureka and ate again.
We still have the desire to see Banff, Jasper etc and we will try again one of these days and plan for more time.
