Advertiser discount for PC members
We checked into The Great Outdoors yesterday for a 3 week stay on reservations we made in October. I initially emailed the contact on the PC site but dealt with Wendy for the reservation. When I checked in, Wendy would not/ could not honor the 10% discount coupon from the PC website on a weekly rate. Her comment was “I don’t know anything about a PC discount.” Is this normal? This is not what I expected to happen.

Did you present the coupon with your smart phone or printed as the instructions stated?

We are currently at the LVM Resort in Las Vegas and received the PC discount with no problem. This is just to let you know it is working here just fine.

I tried contacting you with no success, so here’s the outcome. In short, you can’t combine discounts to obtain an increase in percentage.
Tom – Ispoke with Wendy at the front desk and go a clarification from her as to what happened. He did in fact get a 10% discount. If you stay less than 7 nights, he receives a 10% discount from PC. If he stays more than 7 nights, he automatically gets 10% off his rate. He cannot combine the PC discount with the 10% he already received for the extended stay. Same with Good Sam, we offer 10% discount, which cannot be combined with any other discount.
Hope this clarifies this up. I do appreciate your bringing this to our attention.
