Accumulator or diaphragm tank Pre-Charge (psi) check/set ?
It’s been a couple of yrs so a pressure check was in order. Pre-charge psi should be set about 2 psi below pump cut-in pressure. To determine this turn on the pump. Open a faucet and note the cut-in and cut-out pressures with an air gauge at the schrader valve on top of the diaphragm tank. Then turn off the pump open faucets till all pressure is gone. Air up the diaphragm tank to about 2 psi below the cut-in pump pressure. My cut in is 28 psi, and cut-out is 38 psi. So I set it at 26 psi.

I’m still looking for the accumulator tank in our 99 Liberty Elegant Lady XLV. Anyone with a similar coach know where their’s is?

On my 97 it was in the bay like Don’s. I still do not know where it is on my current coach. Even the folks at Liberty couldn’t tell me. I think I know, but have to take some stuff apart to confirm where it is.

Look behind any partition wall you have under the sink in the galley area.
FWIW, my 01 Liberty didn’t have an accumulator, I added it myself.

I don’t think my 2001 Libery Classic has one either. I’ve been into every compartment I can find and have seen none. The test of water flow with pump off gives only a few ounces. Unless there is one somewhere and it has zero air charge in it.

Stop looking. You may have one for your reverse osmosis system but my coach came originally with a headhunter jetpaq (?) model water pump which has a built-in accumulator tank. I had to add a tank to my coach when I installed the mach 5.

Obviously if you have one and the bladder is bad or the pressure is gone you will not know it.
But if you do have one your water will run for a while, as in a minute or more, and then all that is needed is to find that sucker.
That’s is where I am at the moment, but finding it is pretty far down in my to-do list.
To confuse my efforts I added one directly in line with the toilet flush valve, dedicated to the toilet, but it will still function as a whole house system accumulator.
I think the RO accumulator has a check valve somewhere in the system that prevents backflow of RO water to the house system.

Check your plumbing, you may not have a check valve or cut-off between the water pump and your toilet, not a good thing.
