I suspected from the time we heard Jon and Buddy were off to get the coach that it was a nefarious plan to get Buddy out of his beloved CC. My suspicions have been confirmed. I can see how that could happen, Phil and Joannes Liberty is one of the nicest around. Brilliant plan, just brilliant!

We can kid and tease, but I hope all members realize we are all in the unique position to help one another. We have a map for members to place their name and address and any offers of help. One assistance is moving a members coach if necessary, but the potential for assistance is far greater than that. We can do quick reviews of coaches for sale for distant potential buyers. We can offer local information to people in our area, ranging from restaurants to ploaces to get service. We can come to the aid of people who need help, or point them in the right direction to get aid. We can give advice and information about RV parks, routes, and places or roads tro avoid.
The bottom line is with our well over 2700 members all of us that need anything will not lack for help.
But if you keep picking on me, I am going to ask for somebody to stop this abuse. I’ll triple the dues.

I had to wear a breathing aspirator to help reduce the intake of the usual Liberty BS.
It was some ordeal having to spend 12 hours in a Liberty. I have never seen such automation.
Everything was done for me, pick up the iPad and punch buttons and wala, it even went to the bathroom for me.
Never had to leave the drivers seat. Brought me Subway sandwiches, soft drinks, candy bars, just anything I wanted.
Of course I didn’t have any help, Jon was asleep on the couch when he wasn’t on the PC site harassing the high paying dues members he has lured into the site.
I had to finish the last leg of the trip with my eyelids stapled open so I could see, pretty tired driving 12 hours by yourself.
All kidding aside, was glad to be of help. It is a beautiful coach, even though its not a CC.

conversation, Jon did mention that he only let you drive on the straight aways
because he was not sure that you could handle that extra 5 feet.He made some reference to the fact
that size does matter.Just saying …

Mr. Brown did very well driving MIss Daisy.
He constantly compared the quality of his Liberty ride to that of his CC and as expected he has decided to seek a 2 slide Liberty with the rose petal option. He still needs some remedial training on the ipad controls but I have offered to provide that assistance.
His assertion everything is automatic seems true to all but us Liberty owners but I was sitting in the salon out of view actually controlling everything. I even went to the bathroom for him.

Thank you Jon & Buddy for jumping in to take care of the bus. It was an incredibly generous thing to do. ( I’m glad you both made it back to Tennessee because when you left here, I was not sure who would get left on the side of the road.)
An Update: Phil is doing much better. He had the second of 3 planned surgeries yesterday and everything went well . Next Tuesday his right ankle will get fixed. Long rehab to follow.
The best news of the day is that Sophie came home today! She is moving all limbs and hopefully in time will improve and learn to walk again.
Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers. When life gets awful, “you find out who your friends are”. This is a helluva group!!

Thanks for the update, and especially the good news.
Have no fear Joanne, Buddy and I remain good friends and the only time either of us was ready to beat somebody up was when the other drivers acted like morons.
Neither of us have been passengers so for me, and i think Buddy it was strange sitting in the passenger seat. It is a whole different perspective.

Don’t worry Joanne, Jon and I are still friends even though he owns a Liberty and hates CC.
By the way Liberty gave him that coach for all the advertising he does for them, didn’t cost a penny !!!!!!!!!
I don’t know why our dues are so high if he drives a free coach.
It is a really different perspective being a passenger in one.
Have never been in mine that I wasn’t driving.
Glad to hear of the progress for Phil and that you got your other family member back home.
It was a pleassure helping out.
Have a good Thanksgiving and count the blessings you and your family have received.

Really glad to hear Sophie is home. Sounds like Phil is making good progress. Make sure he knows the group is thinking of him and we are all sending our best wishes for a speedy and succesuful recovery.
