Is there anyone that wants to dispute my feelings about having a phone on when in a moving vehicle. The reason for this tragedy was “driver inattention”.

Thanks to Jeff’s support, Jon and Buddy are on their way to pick up the coach. When someone is in trouble, the PC members pull out all the stops to help, kinda makes you proud.

I can’t agree with you more. Crazy screwed up world we live in but this is one incredible community of Prevost owners. I have personally benefited from the true helpfulness and geniune kindness several times while traveling. What a great community.

Phil will be in surgery today for his left arm. There are several brakes that will be repaired. His right ankle has been immobilized and will have surgery in another week or so.
Jon and Buddy drove up there yesterday and will be picking the coach up this morning. I will echo this is a great group of folks. The community is helping others out all the time and most times are not known to very many people. Thanks to all….

It’s almost 1:30 PM eastern and Buddy is at the wheel. The trip is going well and we will be in the Knoxville area near 7 and in Vonore near 8.
We’ll top it off at Love’s in Dandridge so it will be as it was when we picked it up.

I hope everyone caught that…Buddy is driving and Jon is online……So he does have the capability to be online in transit, or in locations away…..So he does really like some of the technology just likes to pretend he doesnt……

I caught that and wondered what is going on. I think Jon embraces emerging technology more than what he wants us to believe.

Buddy’s making smoke and Jon is making posts on PC while sitting in the lounge chair using his Wi-Fi technology, I think hell has froze over once again.

You guys cannot imagine how high tech our trip was. Buddy and I relied on all kinds of high tech equipment during the trip. My phone was actually on. I made phone calls with it. I received phone calls. And I used it as an alarm clock.
I sent and received emails, posted on the forum, and gave Buddy a tutorial on the technology employed in a high tech Liberty coach. A few more days of instruction and he should begin to understand the nuances of an ipad equipped Liberty.
As his first ever ride in the passenger seat he was able to view and learn to love a Liberty and is now contemplating giving his CC a decent burial so he can get a Liberty. He would have used his smart phone a lot more, but it was dead most of the trip and he had to rely on my use of technology. He may have a different spin on this however.
