You can run 2 AC’s on inverter power (bad idea) and yours may be setup to run the front AC and bedroom AC it varies by coach, that button allows you to switch from the bedroom AC to the galley AC, or vice versa.

your bus like most have standard programming from marathon to run galley and bedroom cruise air off inverters. The “A/C Select” allows further modification based on how coach was originally programmed

standard alternative programming running galley and bedroom by pressing “select button with bedroom on, will switch things making “salon” cruise to operate. In order to have this happen, the bedroom button must be depressed, then depress A/C select, and SMX salon keypad must be on as well. You can experiment by just operating SMX pad for salon before depressin A/C Select. If SMX goes dark, then restart procedure with bed and galley running, then depress select button and turn on salon, and smx should blink, yet stay lit meaning transfer of operation is complete switching from running bedroom unit to salon

Thanks for the info. I do not run off the inverters. I want to baby them to maybe extend the life. Always shore or genset. Thanks again to everyone.
