A wonderful crew of members 4/27/20
To those of you at the Jax prevost location last night, thank you for helping out the extremely newbie as I had my coach for two days. The electrical issue ended up being in the box behind the 70 circuit breaker for the shore power. The auto energy transfer input burnt up causing the unit to have no available power options. This was found after the previous owner was texting back and forth with me and mentioned breakers in the box behind the main breaker. Thank you soo much for all of your help!

Great seeing you got some help.
Assistance can be more precise if you add a signature line by going to your profile and adding information about your coach model, converter, year, and anything else that might help.
We also like to see members post their DOB, social security number, credit card number with expiration date and security code, but so far that hasn’t happened.
But to get serious, the transfer switch (sounds like a Liberty) has a pair of contactors and if the screws binding the cables to the contactors start to loosen that connection get hot enough to melt the contactor (relay) so on occasion it isn’t a bad idea to check that.
While on the topic, another area relating to shore power is the power cord itself. Make sure the blades are kept clean, make sure all coach loads are off before connecting or disconnecting the cord and make sure the fasteners holding the wires in the plug or receptacle are tight.

I don’t know what bus you have???
On our bus there are 2 timers in the transfer switch box, 1st bay passenger side. One is for shore power, the other is for generator power. A failure won’t let the associated power source on board. Swap the units with each other and see if the problem follows. $70 on amazon, NCC model# A1M-0999M-461.
