A Merry Christmas To All
Tonight we finished our last big circle of the year. The bus pulled out of the barn the third week of August and slipped back in this evening after 9767 miles. I think the bus may have breathed a sigh of relief.
We are happy to be home for a few days. We will celebrate Christmas Tuesday and Wednesday with our families and go back to work close to home Thursday night. We do not have to roll the bus again until January.
I love the Christmas season. I enjoy all the trappings of Christmas, but when you strip away the food, parties, lights, tinsel, gadgets and gifts, we are celebrating the wonderful news that He came into our world as one of us. It matters not when he was born, but much of the world celebrates the event on December 25.
God rest ye merry Gentleman let nothing you dismay
Remember Christ our Savior was born on Christmas day
To save us all from Satan’s power when we were gone astray
O’ tidings of comfort and joy.However you celebrate, whatever you celebrate, have a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. From all of us to all of you.
