A/C drains
Anybody have a better solution/idea for roof top A/C drain connection? There are internal drain lines on each side of units that drop condensation out the bottom of the unit into these “cup like” pieces of plastic, that have deteriorated, thus replacement. One on each side of all three A/C units that join together and drain through the roof top. In the process of preparing the roof for Bus Kote and will replace the drain lines, probably after the coating. Anybody have any unique solutions they have used or ideas on drain line material products, pictures always helpful. Thanks

Dometic has a drain kit (3107688016) with small catch pans that go under the drains of the A/C. I have faced them out like your pictures to join drain lines to the rear of coach. Works fine for myself.
You can use two roof gaskets to gain additional height to slip drains under the A/C housing but I did not need them to attach my drains. The catch pans are designed to be screwed to the underside of the A/C housing which will be easy if A/Cs are removed for the coating.

Thanks Rudy, I’ll look for a reasonable source. Saw some on Amazon for $53 (only one available), seems like a lot for what you get, especially since I need 3 kits.

Dometic makes a couple of different kinds. Seems to me what you have is some homemade device some one made up.

I have the same drains on my 98 Royale. I would just replace the PEX and cut the ends the same.

Thanks Mark, I may end up doing that after the roof is coated. Seems like an easy modification.
