    96 Liberty:What’s Aux Compressor for?

    96 Liberty XL Classic 40′

    Newby question. What does the aux air compressor in the frt compartment behind the bumper provide air for? If it was ever explained I’ve forgotten.

    Our coach, #331, came with Prevost mx and parts manuals, but the Liberty manual is a joke?

    On your vintage Liberty air pressure from the aux pump is used to keep the generator air bags inflated, open and close pocket doors, bed lift, operate dump valves, air up the driver’s seat, etc.
